It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ernest Blanton of Saint Augustine, Florida, who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Blanton and Christine Blanton; his son Jeff Blanton; and his sister Wanda Scifres. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Blanton; his daughter Kelli Bellefeuille (Steve); his grandchildren, Autumn Bellefeuille, Zachary Bellefeuille, Lauren Blanton, Justin Brewer and Caitlyn Blanton; and his sisters, Saundra Collamati and Betty Henson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St Johns Family Funeral Home (385 State Rd 207, St. Augustine, FL 32084). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218-1247).
