With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Francis Herron of Saint Augustine, Florida, born in Utica, New York, who passed away on October 27, 2022 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Sr. Herron and Louise Herron; his brother Andy Herron; and his wife Frances Ella Herron. He is survived by: his daughter Bonnie G. Rhymer of Bristol, TN; his grandchildren, Amber Nicole Rhymer and Brett James Rhymer; and his great grandchildren, Honey Chapman and Justin Rhymer.

“I am so very sad to learn of Jim’s passing. Jim was a very good friend of my family when we lived in Whitesboro, NY. He was with my Dad in the Firehouse and we spent many holidays together while I grew up. I remember meeting him and Fran at Trinkaus Manor one year for Thanksgiving. Jim and I used to correspond at Christmas and talk on the phone a couple of times a year. He had such a wonderful memory and I considered him the last link to my parents. I am so sorry for your loss.”
