He is survived by: his children, Felice Dorothy Hightower-Britt of Charlotte, NC and James Givens Hightower Jr. of Fairfield, CA; his grandchildren, Naja Shah, Travis Joseph Hightower and Asa James Hightower; his great grandchild Anah Calloway; and his nieces and nephews, Deliah Burton, Demara Sherman, Damon Hightower and Debaka Williams. He is also survived by cousins and sorrowing friends.
