He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Lynn Cox, Sandra Jean Ellis and Michael M. Stafford; his stepson Thomas M. McLaughlin; and his sister Florence Mays Delaney. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
