He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Gause Porter and Paul Clint Porter, Sr.; his wife Marion D. Porter; and his sister Mary Ruth Culbreth. He is survived by: his brother Clint Porter (Nell).
His more recent past time as an Alzheimer's victim, he would sit in his favorite chair watching/listening to Country Music on the Music Choice station only to change the channel when time for the local news to be aired.
