She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Catenacci and Joseph Catenacci. She is survived by: her husband Dudley New; her daughter Maya Vastardis (Matt Mendelsohn) of Arlington, Virginia; her stepson Dudley New Jr. of Savannah; and her grandchildren, Alexandra Mendelsohn, Chandler New, Jenna New Kernodle and Reese New. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bonaventure Cemetery.
