He was predeceased by: his parents, John Anthony Sitko and Charlotte Gladkowski-Sitko; his wife Mary Sitko; his son Paul Sitko; and his sister Joyce Opalko (Michael).
He is survived by: his children, Matthew John Sitko and Jennifer Thompson; his grandchildren, Sean, Ethan (Hannah), Emma, Nicholas, Courtney (Joe), Austin and Megan (Aaron); his great grandchildren, Bentley, Xavier, Kaleb, Serenity and Charlie; and his siblings, Jeanette Justus (Max), Jim Sitko (Jane) and Tom Sitko. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the River Rock Grille (15100 Dixie Hwy, Holly, MI 48442).
