He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Valdespino and June Valdespino; and his brother Greg Valdespino. He is survived by: his siblings, Steven Valdespino and Lindy Pomicter; his daughter Teresa Valdespino Benton; his son-in-law John Mark Benton; and his grandchildren, Julia and Charlie Benton.
