It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Hughes Jones in Saint Augustine, Florida, who passed away on September 14, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Harvey and Alice Olivia Chandler Rumph; her husband James H. Jones, Jr.; and her siblings, Alice Rumph Smith and James G. Rumph.
She is survived by : her children, David Hughes of St. Augustine, FL, Betsy Hughes Landman (Mark Landman) of Pittsburgh, PA and Lori Hughes Barnes (Joe Barnes) of Saint Johns, FL; her stepdaughter Julia Jones Taylor (Mallory Taylor) of Little Rock; her grandsons, Dalton Landman of Chicago, Tyler Landman (Anna Duckstein Landman) of Pittsburgh, PA, Peyton Landman of Pittsburgh, PA, Josiah Barnes of Saint Johns, FL, David Barnes of Saint Johns, FL and Harvey Barnes of Saint Johns, FL; her stepgranddaughter Mary Ruth Taylor of Little Rock; her sister Dottie Rumph Lindsey (Carl Lindsey) of Searcy, AR; and her sister-in-law Linda Rumph of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.
