She is survived by: her brother Peter; her son George Kowalsky (Susan); her grandchildren, Amanda Bastawros (Peter), David Kowalsky (Jing) and Matthew Kowalsky (Caitlin); and her great grandchildren, Brooke, Austin, Eloise and Margot. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
