He was predeceased by: his parents, Lasel Edwards and Ruby Harris Edwards; his siblings, Grace Marie Harrell, Lorinda Wynn Dupree, Bettie Matthews Haddock and Jordan; and his friend Rudolph Stalls.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Miller Edwards of Anawalt; his sons, Lasel "Skip" Edwards, Jr. (Janet) and Branon Edwards; his grandchildren, Lacey Edwards Peterson (Keyan) and Jeffery A. Edwards (Courtney); his great grandchildren, Olivia, Ellyssa, Carliegh and Wyatt; and his sisters, Rosa Wainwright and Maybell Whitehurst Dunn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and their children.
