He is survived by: his wife Barbara Adams of St. Augustine; his children, Kristin Purdy (John) of St. Augustine and Mark Adams of Orlando; his sister Lynne Laundrenau (Lee) of New Orleans; and his grandchildren, LeAnn Purdy, Amelia Purdy and John Purdy Jr..
