He was predeceased by: his parents, James Matthews and Bernadine Matthews; and his brother John Matthews. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Lorraine Pokorny; his son Marc Thomas Matthews (Dusty); his grandchildren, Griffin Thomas Matthews (Kayleah) and Graham Edward Matthews; his great grandchild Gwendolin Rose Matthews; and his siblings, James Matthews, Mary Becker, Janet Silva, George Matthews, Marcia Rooney and Michelle Martin.
