He was predeceased by: his father Samuel Robert Powell. He is survived by: his children, Amberly Johnson (Tim) of Snellville and Sam Powell (Eliana Forma) of Deerfield Beach, FL; his mother Betty Powell of Lilburn; his sister Kathy Powell of Atlanta; his granddaughter Adelynn Johnson; and his uncle John Young (Diane) of Lilburn. He is also survived by three cousins and their children.
