He was predeceased by: his wife Jewel Vaughn; his parents, Thomas Vaughn and Sarah Alberta Vaughn; and his brother Eugene T. Vaughn. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Jenkins (Vernon) and Marsha Genaro; and his sons, Robert "Bob" Vaughn, Jr. (Glenda), Wayne T. Vaughn and Michael Vaughn (Mandy). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
