He is survived by: his wife Linda Mier McCormack; his siblings, Eileen Cooper and Gene McCormack (Leslie); his children, Michael Mier, Malinna Mier, Toni Broekema, John Broekema (Katy), Jack Broekema (Jami) and Randi Shields (Michael); and his grandchildren, Anthony Broekema, Logan Broekema, Gavin Broekema, Jake Broekema, Emma Webster, Livi Webster, Jordan Purvis, Jackson Broekema, John Ebner, Gracie Broekema and Jace Broekema.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Craig Funeral Home (1475 Old Dixie Hwy, St. Augustine, FL 32084). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
