She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernabe Serrano and Rafaela Rodriguez; and her siblings, Gladys Dolores Rivera, Carmen Luisa Vargas, Juana Serrano, Nereida Vazquez, Luis Serrano, Adon Vasquez, Jose Serrano and Rafael Serrano.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Alvarez (Hector Payan), Migdalia Sullivan (Jimmy) and Felix. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
