Wayne R Strickland Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne R Strickland of Saint Augustine, Florida, who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wayne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Selby "Sub" and Rosemary Strickland; his wife Paula; and his children, Laura (Kelly) and Stephen (Melissa). He was also cherished by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; the families of his siblings; and a wide circle of extended family.

The military honors will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the San Lorenzo Catholic Cemetery.
