He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Carl D. Hoffman and Annie Autrey Hoffman; his nephew Urle; his siblings, Carl (Marie) and Ann Dobbs; and his pet Sable.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Kasper Hoffman; his sons, Brian (Tirzah) and Brad (Jo); his stepsons, Bryan Racks (Greta) and Jeff Rucks (Amy); his grandchildren, Katy, Chris, Angie, Maddison, Ryan, Camden, Carlie, Savannah, Anabelle and Wyatt; and his sibling's children, Candace (Mike), Mike, Carla Ann (Larry), Melody and Katrina.
