He was predeceased by: his wife Elisa Vicente; his children, Richard Vicente and Nereida Cartagena; and his great grandchild Christian Vasquez. He is survived by: his children, Evelyn Vicente, Alice Vicente-Perez, Jay Vicente, Wilfredo Cartagena, Edwin Cartagena, Isreal Cartagena and Jessica Rosario. He is also survived by grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
