She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvin William Waid and Emma Josephine Morton Waid; her significant other Roland Alvie VanTassel; her son Ronald VanTassel (Buddy); her brothers, Buddy Leroy Waid (Rose), William Elsworth Waid and James Robert Waid (Mabel); and her daughter-in-law Sheila VanTassel.
She is survived by: her children, Roland Ray VanTassel (Bob), Ricky Allen VanTassel (Brenda), Teresa McDanel (Mike) and Bonnie Moye (Dan). She is also survived by 16 Grandchildren; 38 Great Grandchildren; 8 Great-Great Grandchildren.
