Elizabeth leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Elizabeth’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Elizabeth will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel F. DeBord and Mattie J. DeBord (Martin); her daughter Lisa Steinmetz; her brothers, Brenes DeBord, Bruce DeBord and John DeBord; and her sister-in-law Carolyn DeBord.
She is survived by: her husband Richard E. Steinmetz of St. Cloud, FL; her children, Richard A. Steinmetz, Sr. (Phyllis) of St. Cloud, FL and Anita Campbell (James) of Tampa, FL.; and her granddaughter Lisa Sparkman (Jake) of N. Salt. She is also survived by her sister in laws, as well as her many nieces and nephews.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association at act.alz.org in Elizabeth's honor.
