He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernardo Vega and Dionisia Vega; and his brothers, Pedro Suarez and Manuel Vega. He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda and Veronica Vega; his wife Wilma Vega; his grandchildren, Sophia Maldonado and Noah Vega; and his sisters, Gladys Vega and Minerva Lopez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, in addition to many friends.
