He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Hover; his parents, Boyd Hover and Ella Hover; his siblings, Marilyn Hatfield, Kathleen Lyons and Robert Hover; and his daughter Dorothy Lamoore.

He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Sexton and Catherine Newsom; his grandchildren, Craig, Aaron, Kimberly, Christina, Tracy and Shawn; and his sisters, Charlotte Ward, Phyllis VanArsdale and Dorothy Bolin. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
