Phyllis J Boho Obituary
Phyllis J. Boho, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 5, 2021 at her home in St. Cloud, Florida after a three-year battle with Glioblastoma. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 10, 1946. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Germaine Wimmer. Phyllis grew up in Morton Grove, Illinois and that is where she met her sweetheart, Kenneth G. Boho. They enjoyed 54 beautiful years together. While living in Skokie, Illinois,
Phyllis’s career focused on the travel industry. After moving to St. Cloud, Florida in 1993, she continued in travel and reservations while working for the Walt Disney Company. Before retiring, Phyllis finished out her career working for the State of Florida at the Osceola County Health Department focusing on grant funded programs. Phyllis loved to ride her bicycle, spend time with her family and friends, and volunteer with Special Olympics. Phyllis was loved and respected by everyone that was lucky enough to have known her. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Kenneth and her daughters, Christine (David) Baudier and Michelle (Corey) Ploetz. Phyllis and Ken are blessed to have Nicholas (Madison), Tabatha, Megan, Garrett and Grant for grandchildren. They are also blessed to have Kaylee Paige, Morgan Kate and Gemma Platt as great-grandchildren. Phyllis will be truly missed and her loss is felt by a multitude of family and friends across the country. A Memorial Service will be held at Fisk Funeral Home 1107 Massachusetts Ave, St. Cloud, FL on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Inurnment immediately following the service at Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1717 Old Boggy Creek Road, Kissimmee, FL at 2:30 pm.
