He was predeceased by: his parents, Alna Tackett and Dexter Tackett (Little); his wife Gerrie Tackett (Melton); his children, Genia and A. C.; and his siblings, Don, Hubert, Rance, Jackie and Patsy.
He is survived by: his children, Kim (Willard) and Jeff; his daughter-in-law Karma; and his sister Sheba. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.
