He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Nicholson and Lillian Nicholson; his wife Carol Nicholson; and his sister Marcia Kurland. He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Gass (Dale), David Nicholson Jr. (Carol Weis) and Stephen Nicholson (Laura); his grandchildren, Zachary Potter (Brionna), Shane Potter, Kassandra Nicholson and Boden Nicholson; and his great grandchildren, Brycen Potter and Paisely Potter.
