He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Robert Joseph Pica; his parents, Cecil Bartholomew and Jane Bartholomew; his brother Ronald; and his pets, Duke and Lucy.

As with many, the onset of Covid would begin a roller coaster of health challenges for John.
