We are sad to announce that on July 14, 2025, at the age of 85, Alta Howard in Saint Petersburg, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Howard; her siblings, Joe, Geneva and Don Ward; and her parents, Joe Ward and Devada Ward.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tracey Letourneau and Morena Budney; her son-in-law Chris Budney; her siblings, Rita Hedger and Ed Ward; and her sister-in-law Debby Ward.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the DeGusipe Funeral Home (3530 49th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33710). A burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Bay Pines National Cemetery (000 Bay Pines Blvd, Bay Pines, FL 33708). A procession will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at the Bay Pines Va Cemetery (10000 Bay Pines Blvd, St. Petersburg, FL 33708).
