He is survived by: his children, Randall Smith (Teresa Smith) and Debbie Chandler (Richard Chandler); his daughter-in-law Juanita Smith; his grandchildren, Russell Smith II and Autumn Chandler; and his nephews, Dan Smith, James Smith and Wesley Smith.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Park Street Baptist Church (3901 Park St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33710). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sarasota National Cemetery (9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241).
