He is survived by: the mother of his children Gail Beikirch (Joe Beikirch); his children, Sabrina Hogan (Michael Hogan), Christina Ryan, Melissa Melvin, John Parrotte (Layla Parrotte) and Estella Myers (Michael Myers); his grandchildren, Stephen Melvin (Sabrina Stewart), David Pierce (Anela Ho'opi'i), Tiffany Neff, Kenneth Melvin, Michael Melvin (Essence Brown), Devin Myers, Helena Parrotte, Morgan Myers and Adam Parrotte; his great grandchildren, Holden Neff, Maliyah Melvin and Michael Melvin Jr.; and his pet Sam.
