He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Deveney and Dorothy Deveney; his daughter Dawn Deveney; and his brother Thomas Deveney. He is survived by: his wife Susan Deveney; his children, Douglas Deveney (Kathleen) and Patricia Adams; his brother William Deveney (Natalie); his sister-in-law Debra Deveney; his grandchildren, Tyler Healey, Alyssa Healey, Amanda Ellis, David Adams (Abigail), Bobby Adams, Kathryn Deveney and Kylie Deveney; and his great grandchild Cooper Adams.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home & Crematory (5750 49th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33709). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Deerfield Golf Club (507 Thompson Station Rd, Newark, DE 19711).
