He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bill, Mamie Jo Cate of Middleburg, FL, Chester and Sue Dees of Haines City, FL. He is survived by: his parents, Gary Cate and Sharon Cate of Middleburg, FL; his sister Julie Hicks; his brother-in-law Leander Hicks; and his niece Savannah Hicks of Virginia Beach, VA.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Palm Lake Christian Church (5401 22nd Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33710).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Palm Lake Christian Church.
