With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mattie Sue Edwards of Salt Springs, Florida, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mattie Sue left this world on July 24, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the vast expanse of eternity, Mattie Sue shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mattie Sue farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Ragan and Mary Ragan; and her brother Jessie Marcus "Mark". She is survived by: her children, Dalton L. Edwards, Steven A. Edwards and Wanda Sue Edwards; and her siblings, Phillip Eugene Ragan, James Patrick Ragan, Donald Jerry Ragan and Billie June Stacy (Brenda Hodges). She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fl VFW.
