It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daryl Gene Schooler of San Antonio, Florida, born in Ferriday, Louisiana, who passed away on May 21, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arrie Lee and Harold Schooler; and his brothers, Tom Schooler and Butch Schooler. He is survived by: his wife Hope Schooler; his children, Hoff Schooler (Pam), Bryce Schooler (Amanda) and Kara Crawford (Greg); his grandchildren, Kaleigh, Kerington, Addison and Blake; his brother Bubba Schooler (Libby); and his sisters-in-law, Connie Schooler, Pat Schooler, Kecia Coburn (Stan) and Dawn Dubois (Clyde). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
