He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Kain and Katheryn Kain (Smith); and his brother Kenneth Kain. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughter Cindy; his son-in-law Nick Derevjanik; his brother Denis; his sister-in-law Roxanne Kain; his granddaughter Arielle Derevjanik; and his sister-in-law Linda Kain.
