He was predeceased by : his parents, Lacy Richardson and Emma Laura Richardson (McDonald); his former life partner Lura Drulene "Ging" Richardson; and his siblings, Harry, Wilford, Vernon Richardson and Redith Bryant.

He is survived by : his wife Lura Drulene Luke; his children, Franklin E. "Benny" Richardson (Debbie) of Sanderson and Rhonda K. Davis (Huey "Peanut") of Middleburg; his grandchildren, Lavaughn Morris (Emma), Melissa Davis, Brent Davis (Corine), Benny Richardson (Corley), Christopher Richardson and Amber Smith (Cotey); his great grandchildren, Tori, Dallas, Skyler, Abby, Gavin, Brynlee, Boone and Carolyn; his great great grandchild Wrenley; and his siblings, Earl Richardson (Iris) of Glen St, Rachel Lauramore (Marvin) of Sanderson and Joyce Griffis of Sanderson.
