With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Lynn Coats in Sanford, Florida, born in Hope, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2025 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his former wife Wendy (Dalton); his parents, Clyde Coats and Fola (Booth); his brothers, Charles and Stephen; and his sister-in-law Margaret Coats.
He is survived by: his wife Lyn; his children, Charlessa, Chad, Karen, Eddie and Brian (Amanda); his siblings, Clyde II (Virginia), Jerry and Mary Ann (Virginia); and his grandchildren, Schylar Labeth, Ari Salazar, Zander Salazar, Hannah Springberg, Preston Springberg, Landon Coats and Grayson Coats.
