He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Jackson and Bill Jackson; his brother William "Billy" Jackson; his stepbrother Mike Jackson; his brother-in-law Leo Smith; and his grandson Cash Britton.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah (Smith); his children, David, Jr. (Denise) of Eau Claire, Lori Rogers Paulin and Jamie Rogers; his sister Brenda Doan (Larry) of Eau Claire; his stepsiblings, Sue Banks, Nancy Scott and Keny Jackson; his brothers-in-law, Eddie Smith (Pam) of Clearwater and Cody Smith of Sanford; his son-in-law Frank Paulin, Jr. of Edwardsburg; his grandson Trey Smith; his nephew Brent Rogers; his granddaughters, Kendall Paulin and Maryah Rogers; his great grandchildren, Oliver and Kenzlee Paulin; and his sibling's children, Larry Prince (Misty), Mark Prince, Heather Armstrong (BJ) and Misty Smith.
