He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Nicholas and Mildred Nicholas. He is survived by: his wife Beth Huffman; and his sons, Joe (Melisa) and John (Gretchen). He is also survived by three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in his name to VITAS Healthcare (hospice) or to The Salvation Army.
