He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Pierce and Mary Emma Pierce (Camp); his wife Barbara; and his sisters, Dorothy Ewing and Lorraine Campbell.
He is survived by: his children, John Pierce Jr. (Carol), Dawn Canright and Rebecca Pierce. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
