He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Clarence Gill and Muriel Mayetta Gill; and his grandson Silas Gill. He is survived by: his siblings, Joan, Lauretta and Wayne; his wife Elsie Deanna Gill; his sister Joyce Fry; and his children, Lenna, Laura Feneis (Ron), James Gill (Ki-Ki) and Loren Gill (Alyssa). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
