He is survived by: his wife Dianne Nicholson; his mother Hazel Nicholson (Scottish) of Edinburgh, Scotland; and his pet Hamish. He is also survived by extended family in the U. K.; and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robin's memory to either the 1708 Gallery or the Valentine Museum, both Richmond art institutions which Robin supported.
