He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Ranford and Elizabeth Ranford. He is survived by : his wife Jill; his son David Ranford (Jessica); his granddaughters, Lyla and Nora; his son Kevin Ranford (Christine); his grandchildren, Alec and Dean; his great grandchild Mia Davis (Nick); his siblings-in-law, Joyce and Ron Burk; and also, August and Marlon.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dave's memory can be made to one of the following nonprofit organizations: Doctors Without Borders, Smile Train, American Indian College Fund, The Humane Society of your choice, or Hope Family Parish in Cape Ann, MA.
