He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Kaltenmark (Ramlow); and his sister Jean Rofkar (Kaltenmark). He is survived by: his sons, John Kaltenmark (Kirsten), David Kaltenmark and Steven Kaltenmark (Emily); his grandchildren, Ryan Kaltenmark, Katie Pokryfke (Ramsey), Kevin Kaltenmark (Erin), Spencer and Blake Kaltenmark; his great grandchildren, Cooper and Parker Pokryfke; and his sister Ruth Young (Kaltenmark). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
