It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Wallace of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on April 29, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ruth leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sheppard Griffith and Mary Ella Ehrlich Griffith; and her sister Mary B. Dollie Savitz. She is survived by: her brothers, Mike Griffith of Blythwood and Shep A. Griffith, Jr. of Longwood, Florida.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Point Washington Methodist Church of Santa Rosa Beach.
