It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Socorro Ramirez of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Socorro shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Socorro farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Comparan and Imelda Oseguera Comparan (Edmundo); her son Manuel; and her siblings, Chema, Luis, Rodolfo, Jesus and Francisca Esturkey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Imelda (Ed Diaz), Rosa (Ivan Molina), Socorro (Dennis McFarland) and Elena Gaona. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Clary-Glen Freeport Chapel Funeral Home (150 FL-20, Freeport, FL 32439).
