She is survived by: her husband James Smidt; her children, Katheleen Smidt Bell and Christine Smidt Davidson; her grandchildren, Oliver Davidson, Eve Davidson, Anna Bell, Graeme Davidson, John Bell and Virgina Kate Bell; and her brothers, James Casey and Jerome Casey.
