He is survived by: his wife Ellen Smith; his children, Alfonso, Teresa, Richard David, William, Jennifer and Andrew; his grandchildren, Julian, Adrian, Jordyn, Kaitlyn, Jaidyn, Nolan and Dylan; and his great grandchildren, Riley and Ben. He is also survived by extended family in Mexico of nieces, nephews and cousins.
