He was predeceased by: his parents, Sadie Liftman and Philip Liftman; his wife Marcia; and his son Michael. He is survived by: his son Douglas (Annette); his daughter-in-law Barbro; his granddaughters, Rebecca Liftman (David Pilch), Rachel Lotstein (Jacob), Emily Liftman (Remy Elbez) and Jessica Liftman; and his girlfriend Helene Grossberg. He is also survived by five great-grandsons, and many nieces and nephews.
